I just did an update on an old e6000 motor.
The diagnostic report showed all changes made to these two settings and when it happend.
I think shimano introduced this with the recent release of the new v5 of their desctop tool which bike shops use to service the steps systems.
No doubt that they can see this on the new ep8 system aswell.
One thing that is unclear to me is if this can only be logged with the newest firmware. The customers bike had the newest firmware installed, so i guess i have to check with my ep8 and its older firmware to proove this.

I remember that the developer of the STunlocker mentioned that this was not the case and that shimano has no way to see if changes were made to the system.
Now its clear that they are able to tell if people tuned their bikes that way.

I guess my warranty is gone now.
Just wanted to let you guys know this.
