I would not judge a bike just by software/app features...

I am also not interested in any gimmicks, but at least I want to change the Assist Level. The old MC App was not perfect, but most of the time it worked.
The new App ist catastrophic, a two week weather forecast is more reliable than this crap...

i hadnt ever connected my kenevo to the mission control app but wanted to after realising there was a little more power i hadnt tuned into it, so turned my fone on and the old app "has been retired" what bs is this? so i tired downloading the new one and my "device isnt compatible with this version" wtf, so now i need a new fukin fone to tune my bike or take it 2hrs in the car to a specialized store...i have tried everything, but cannot even see what android update i would need to have to get into this damn app thing, i have an android 8.1.0 and it doesnt like that at all...

I gave up - Have an old Samsung A3 with the old MC, this one works for my Levo Gen1....

I’ve been on the beta and there’s nothing nefarious going on. They’re good people trying to make the app a better experience.
It’s riders from mostly the US and UK. We’ve been able to have a positive influence on making the app better.
Due to snow in my area I haven’t been able to test lately so don’t know specifically what’s come out on this release.

Sorry to revive an old thread but this seemed like maybe the best place to put this.

What is the current situation with the Specialized App? The one I have seems to be pretty crap.
A reasonable summary seems to be that they downgraded Mission Control, removed all the tuning etc and a load of the stats that people wanted several years ago and are ignoring the howls of protest.

With the Levo 4 coming out I rather assumed that the app would get some attention too, but that doesn't seem to be the case (?) I have the latest version and it's still lacking many of the features of Mission Control.

Is there any prospect of an improved version? This thread is at least 3 months old so IF there was going to be a major update I'm assuming beta testers would be on it by now?

As things stand, I won't be replacing my 3 year old Levo SL with another Specialized.

Have you guys tried Blevo? It works perfectly with gen1 and has all the features that old MC had...and more. Not the best GUI out there but that's life

If you are newbie and just start working with Black Specialized app, then i guess you will be happy.
If you experienced old Mission Control with all the pre-kill features, then you feel pissed off.

And i see barely intention, that anything will change.

Maybe, don't know for sure. But I was talking about a solution for Levo/Kenevo gen1. Levo SL have newer TCU on the top tube. For those, I don't think there's any problem using Specialized app.
