Hi people, I've had an idea I like been diffrent so I've noticed I can get a stance for £2500 in the sale I'm thinking it might be fun to buy a cheap bike and mod it so bin/sell fork it's crap fit maybe a pike 140mm or lyrik 150mm some formula brakes I've got hope/mavic wheels and proper tyres I think for £1000 and a total of £3500 it could be a great trail bike ? Any thought 😁

Hi, in my view it’s the best way to do it. Get a base bike and mod it to your spec. Sell off or replace the stock bits when worn until it’s your dream build. Even if I could afford a 13k bike there would be something on there that I wouldn’t like, so why not do it 9.5k less. I say “av it bruv” 😎

on the other hand there are so many sales that you could probably get a bike close to your proposed final build for £3500!!
