In regards to ¨looks¨ the stock Butchers look narrow out front with the 38 Fork2.2 - 2.4” for the win - even 2.5wt feel porky and less precise to me.
Well specced I’d say.
(does anyone know if this the new or old Butcher?)

I have asked the older Levo forum to no avail. It had been discussed that many prefer the old (black) version of the Mission Control App over the current version (red), I would would like to see the jump stats return as a software update to the current App. I do no find the current App useful as to all the graphs, would prefer instead a tabulated list of stats, as before for simplicity.Has anyone asked why the jump status are gone?

“There’s no escaping that thick tube”?There is no escaping that thick tube but if you want the power for the motor then I don't see the alternative with current battery tech.
I think alot of people miss the point that the battery is shorter and fatter in the Levo for handling purposes over looks. Its going to be interesting to see the handling reviews on the other bikes with a longer battery and the weight not as low on the frame.“There’s no escaping that thick tube”?
Tell that to the Unno Mith — similar power (105 Nm), full-size battery (800 Wh), lower weight (21.2 kg / 46.7 lb), more travel (170 / 160 mm) and it doesn’t look like it swallowed a fire extinguisher. The Levo Gen 4 is less eMTB, more mobile power station with pedals.

And then they put the SWAT box above it, exactly where they don’t want the weight.I think alot of people miss the point that the battery is shorter and fatter in the Levo for handling purposes over looks. Yeah, Molini/liguria is a dense trail network. I also prefer ebike to shuttles in finale but more because it's more chill and I can set my own rhythm. But sadly I neither live in finale or molini. When you live in the Alps, you find that the best trails are far from the bike parks.
The best day I've ever had on a bike, title says it all:

To get back on topic: looking forward to reading some range tests on the Levo in different modes.
Because the levo used to be the lightest full power with a removable battery and Jon-rattlinn motor. Was true for alloy and carbon version. Big, heavy bikes just feel too sluggish/glued to the ground for my preferred trails. Also for jumps it's way easier to jump with a lighter bike on natural trails as I'm not a good at jumping but love to use little natural features to jump off of.It is strange that those who have not tried the G4 complain about the weight but when the alloy version arrives which will most likely weigh 1.5 kg more with the 840wh battery is when the real complaints begins.

This is not actually intended for real use, just marketing. And then they put the SWAT box above it, exactly where they don’t want the weight.
Smart that.
Exactly... its called center of gravity and they tried to lower it by increasing the width of the battery instead of making it the entire length of the tube. For me it was adding the SWAT that seemed pointless that further increased the size. Wear a small pack for your tools and gear, as MTBs were meant to have trunks.I think alot of people miss the point that the battery is shorter and fatter in the Levo for handling purposes over looks. Sadly the swat box is heavy and non removable. And then they put the SWAT box above it, exactly where they don’t want the weight.
Smart that.
What are you putting in your SWAT bag that weighs so much? A tube and CO2 does not weigh that much. And then they put the SWAT box above it, exactly where they don’t want the weight.

A tube is the heaviest thing that I carry with me other than water. It's not particularly light. What are you putting in your SWAT bag that weighs so much? A tube and CO2 does not weigh that much.

Seems to tell us that peak power and styling sells bikes, specialized put that lower in their priorities than others. The levo may well have been pretty much finished when an avinox powered edriud was conceived. Maybe specialized got it right and we'll see in the longer term what is sucessful but at the moment the avinox is more trendy.Any comments besides torque, weight and downtube?
yeah i know but i run the gravity on my gen 3 just to avoid flats. i hate being that guy...If you can live with trail tires you can get rid of pretty much weight.
The thermal stability thing seems more academic than anything. I've heard zero reports of the Avinox derating in real world use.Seems to tell us that peak power and styling sells bikes, specialized put that lower in their priorities than others. The avinox doesn't have a nice straight line in thermal stabiltiy on the velomotion graphs but it'll still be higher in absolute power terms than competitors at all points on the graph?
The angle of your pictures really make the G4 downtube look huge!
