It is definitely worth having a cap for the rosenberger plug on the Specialized charger. Personally I use a rubber stopper, the type sold for the bottom of walking sticks. I also wrap a small piece of shop towel around the plug before pushing it into the rubber stopper..........and renew that regularly. The piece offered by the OP looks good.........I would still be inclined to use some shoptowel or similar with it to ensure the plug is kept clean.

i just put mine on the shelf in the garage. Or the box I keep a load of mtb stuff in.

I honestly think some people have way to much time on their hands.

good luck to them like, but I can’t say I ever spent a moment to myself and thought…. Mmmm yup, what’s best for the charger cover ?

its OK..it only took up a very small fraction of my total computing power:p

I made one for myself after my charger plug picked up a load of crud and metal filings and it was right pain to clean it all off.

If you keep your garage floor as clean as your living room then don't bother!

Today I have made a clip in crud guard for the HT motor housing - mine keeps filing up with mud and grass.
