I took the side panel off my bike yesterday as was going to fit a Lupin SLX light for autumn and winter riding, and was gob-smacked at how full of crap behind the panel was. So much its started to rust up the innner case bolts. I dont use a jet wash, but do rinse the bike upside down first to get the big stuff off, then wash stood upright, with MX cleaner. It was packed full.
Is this the same for all? Anyone got a hack to stop this happening? On my old 2t's I used foam, but the space is quite small and I'm not sure thats suitable.
The two rings are where the dirt collected. Good job I was in the garage alone, it was emabrassing!
