Shimano E8000 normal sound?

Well I think my second motor is just about to give up the ghost. When the motor is engaged each peddle stroke sounds like I'm walking over dried leaves, its roughly at the same k's as the last motor.

If you're talking about the chirpy bird sound, my e8000 did this after less than a hundred miles. Very disconcerting.
Cured mine by doing nothing more than pushing the bike backwards with the motor on.
I was probably just lucky, but worth a try.

It's more liking a clicking crunchy sound. When I switch the motor off and pedal I hear barely anything but as soon as motor is switched on its gets very pronounced. As the motor warms up it gets really bad.
