The Shimano 12 speed chains are designed to work as part of the hyperglide system. A 12 speed SRAM chain will fit (though you might need to use a KMC/Shimano quick link for the correct inner plate spacing on the quick link depedning on your chainring) but you won't have the advantages of running the correct chain with the correct chainring/cassette - ie smoother shifts, ability to shift slightly better under load and overall less wear.
 
FYI, I'm using a KMC E12 chain on my Sram drivetrain with no issues and with smooth changes, though the AXS DR may be helping.
