Have a Genius eRide 920, currently set up 29/29
Thinking of setting it up as a mullet
Do I need to flip the flip chip?
And do I need to have any re-calibration of the system/controller or can I just fit the 27.5 rear and ride away? (I know I need to install the speed sensor on the brake rotor)
Has anyone done this?

Hey there. I mulleted my ransom eride and had to flip the chip because of bb height too low, and caused a few pedal strikes.
You could ride fine without changing the wheel circunference, but speed wont be accurate, miles on odometer wont be real, and speed cut-off will come sooner.

Thanks!
Is it possible to change the wheel circumference on the Purion or is it a job for the bike shop?

I've just mullet'd my eRide 920 and just wanna say that it's worth doing. Mine definitely feels a bit less 'stodgy' and hopefully I will no longer catch my behind on the back wheel on steep descents! Next step is to get the wheel size set correctly as it was slightly out even with the 29" wheel (when the display said 15mph, actual speed was about 14mph) and is even worse now
