I can't use the tyre, it won't hold air.I have no issues with this.
Do you have more battery consum?

What tubeless sealant you use if it doesn't clog small holes like that?I can't use the tyre, it won't hold air.
Stans. What tubeless sealant you use if it doesn't clog small holes like that?
The knobbies look really good for that milage, my tires don't look that good at 100 milesStans.
The tyre has been OK for 5 months.
It's like tyres BITD before Tubeless was a thing. No matter how much sealant you put in, you couldn't seal them all.
It’ll be interesting to hear what Schwalbe responds with. It looks like the classic weeping sidewall from early tubeless days. How old was the Stans in that tire? I assume you added fresh sealant ~5 months ago when you installed the tire? Would be good to know what the climate is like where you ride and if the bike sat in storage for the winter at all.Stans.

Try to find a non-latex sealant. They solve the problem of porous sidewalls. The added bonus is that they never go off like latex ones do.I've been running a Radial Magic Mary 27.5 Gravity Soft (rear) for five months and have ridden 464 miles. The tyre no longer holds air, and the tubeless sealant leaks through the side wall in over twenty-plus places. I've had to swap the tyre.
I've contacted Schwalbe UK; hopefully, they can advise.

I agree with Conti's combo, it would be nice if you tried Schwalbe's combo in Finale.I have tried the Magic Mary Gravity on the front and Albert Gravity on the rear and I really do like them.
Also tried the Shredda Front (hated the tread pattern, too much tram lining due to no centre block) and Shredda Rear, on both rear and front, that works very very well, but obviously massively draggy, but insane levels of grip.
Trying to find the sweet spon on the ebike, I initially thought the Magic Mary Gravity both front and rear would be decent, but wanted to try the Albert Gravity out back first. And considering that the blocks are not too tall on the Albert, it offers suprisingly decent grip levels, even with the current muddy state of the trails.
I'm running 28 psi rear and 25 psi front. I reckon I might have to up it a little bit when it dries out a bit and speeds up, as I had a pretty big rim ding on the rear yesterday landing on a root after a small jump.
The tyres are very nicely damped, grip levels seem high. They turn quite well, although, can feel a little vague on the edge of the tyre (completely different to Conti Kryptotal / Argotal on the edges, which feel more locked in).
I might try them in Finale in a few weeks to see how I get on with faster rolling / rock terrain.
For now they are definitely staying on the bike (I have tried almost every enduro tyre out there over the past few years)

It looks like I replied to a very old message, sorry about that.I agree with Conti's combo, it would be nice if you tried Schwalbe's combo in Finale.
I would get information on how it behaves in rocky and dry terrain.
My (and wife's) Maxxis High Roller 3 Maxxgrip DH rears after just the winter are looking pretty worn and ugly with flint and chalky fragments embedded in them. But do hold air perfectly with the Muc-Off Big Bore Lite valves fitted, no tyre wall leakage. The knobbies look really good for that milage, my tires don't look that good at 100 miles. Sealants have a shelf life, make sure you're not using from an old bottle. I've found the best way to stop this is put a tube in it, then just simple tire slime in the tube. Works great
.
Tell her that flint and chalky bits embedded in them improves traction! My (and wife's) Maxxis High Roller 3 Maxxgrip DH rears after just the winter are looking pretty worn and ugly with flint and chalky fragments embedded in them. This is very weird ... I never ever had issue with the assegai front, especially on maxgrip 2.5, from shale, dirt to forest. On my emtb’s ive ditched maxxis they came with and running Magic Mary front and rear.. Just better grip for me. I just bought A new Bullit and it came with Assegai in front and I was washing the front end like I never have especially in tight twisty loose stuff.
More a bout the tyre or tyre width than tyre pressure? The most I ever use on the rear is 25psi ( I am lighter than you at 70kg though) and usually only 23psi..................Im using Maxxis DHR DD. 2,4Question for the people using the Radial tires. How are they with jumping ? I currently run a cannibal DH rear and butcher front on my levo and I need to keep my pressures about 32 and 34psi because i feel the back tire giving in and sometimes rolling on steep jumps. But with these higher pressures, my traction stinks on the sandy conditions we have on the rest of our trails. Will the Radial tires allow me to run the higher pressures to stop the tires from giving in on steep face jumps but still give good traction everywhere else? I was thinking of getting MM front and Albert rear in the gravity casing. I weigh about 178lbs (80.5kg).
Thanks for the help!
It might be time for a new tire comparison video. If you get a chance, try the rear on the front also. I much prefer it that way.
See what you mean, rear looks to have more centre support, bit like an Assegai. If you get a chance, try the rear on the front also. I much prefer it that way.
That´s what I just ordered. A Shredda rear for a front tire and a Magic Mary Gravity soft for the rear.If you get a chance, try the rear on the front also. I much prefer it that way.
MM in front and Albert in the rear is a great combination worth trying. I wasn't a fan of the US Albert in the rear, the knobs didn't have as much bite under braking as the Soft in harder packed conditions. Shredda is very different than MM or Albert, I can't imagine it would work well if the conditions suited for an Albert. I'd stick with what you have been running if it works of MM SS front and Albert S rear when you have to replace the front.I posted this in it's own thread - but looks like this might be the better place:
So I've been running Alberts fore and aft on my Orbea Rise
both in the Gravity weight
2.6 front - ultra soft, 2.5 rear - soft
absolutely love them - used in Surrey Hills, North Wales and the Scottish borders - mainly Red trails - pretty mixed conditions and trails
the back (in soft) is wearing out pretty quick and I want to get a new tyre before heading back to Glentress next month
either
a Shredda rear for rear - gravity - ultra soft (thoughts: it might be a bit heavy for my semi skimmed emtb - also a bit too tall for general riding - although I'm sure it will wear fast)
and keep the Albert 2.6 gravity on the front
Or
a Magic Mary radial - trail - ultra soft - 2.5 out front (I think it measures the same as the albert 2.6)
and move the Albert Gravity ultra soft to the back (I think it measures around 2.5 so won't be too wide for the bike)
I normally like running the heavier tyre out back...
has anybody ridden either of these combo's ?
looks like I'll be running in ultra soft with both of those combo's
thoughts please
multiple obligations
I'm on the Albert/MM combo right now (Both in US because that's all that was available) but plan to try switching the rear to an MM to see how it does. I think for anywhere you get a fair amount of loose stuff it'll be the best setup.MM in front and Albert in the rear is a great combination worth trying. ah yes I didn't take into account the difference in compounds on the rearMM in front and Albert in the rear is a great combination worth trying. I'd really like to try a MM Gravity Soft in the rear but a 29" hasn't been released. After trying the Albert SS that compound just won't work for me in anything hard packed. Some SoCal trails are like concrete these days.I'm on the Albert/MM combo right now (Both in US because that's all that was available) but plan to try switching the rear to an MM to see how it does. I was a tad impatient and bought a Mary US for the front - So I will likely be using this set up for a whileI'm on the Albert/MM combo right now (Both in US because that's all that was available) but plan to try switching the rear to an MM to see how it does. Those conditions might be good for the Shredda Rear in the front and MM in the rear.I was a tad impatient and bought a Mary US for the front - So I will likely be using this set up for a while
I do ride in a fair amount of loose stuff and lots of steep rooty sections - so hopefully it will work out
I have a bit of tread left on the Albert Soft 2.5 - so will take it up to Scotland for the more manicured trails - maybe![]()
interesting! I ended up discounting the Shredda rear on the back - not wanting to rip up local trailsThose conditions might be good for the Shredda Rear in the front and MM in the rear.
