Big improvement on their old offering, but only 504wh? Wouldnt bother me personally but seems a bizarre choice, especially as pricing wise they aren't the greatest value, but then again maybe they are with recent price increase taken into account? Who knows

What’s happening to e-Bike prices?

That aside, I quite like the look of the bike, the battery size is plenty for me as well, and more bikes will hopefully increase competition etc.

2kg more than my E-Sommett, even with same size battery and the lighter EP8 - still waiting for someone to bring out a bike that isn't a tanker truck and doesn't cost 10k!

...and at the same time Saracen is moving to a direct-to-consumer model. The trend continues...

It's just logic.

The super light bikes came along and you paid more for a smaller motor and smaller battery.

So the Full Fats have to fight back, they have a bigger motor and bigger battery, so should cost more ! :ROFLMAO:

Rotwild R.X375 Ultra 18.2 kg and only €11,500 - in fairness, it's lightweight so you pay more, but comes with a full size motor, so you have to pay more for that too. +€750 for a second external battery to double range.

Plus it has @Rob Rides EMTB dream of a single button to release the battery :

When I saw Saracen in the thread title I initially thought that we might have a more affordable option, unfortunately not though.

Decent looking bike though, in a familiar kind of way, I wouldn't mind the smaller internal battery if they offered a range extender as an option.
