Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out which axle I should order from Thule to be able to fit a kid stroller to my Focus Sam2 2019. Then I look at the "exploaded drawing" it says is't a trough axle 12x148mm but that doesn't say much to me...

Can you help me se which one of these that will fit my bike?

On my Thron2 the thru axle on the rear (front and rear are different sizes, even thread pitch) is a M12X1.75 (pitch)X148mm long, and has the same Focus part number as you pic above ????

Thank you very much! I did take a extra look at the axle today, the overall length is 180mm, but on the axle there is actually one writing, "OLD 148" it says? anyhow, I guess that if the part-nr is the same for the one that was correct for you, it should fit mine as well :)

Edit:

Which of these length is it then that I should order? o_O

Mind also measures 180mm length and can only assume that the hub (if that’s the correct term) on the wheel is 148mm??
I have my replacement axle in my hand (not a Focus part) and written on it is
M12X1.75
142-148mm

And measures from under bolt head to end of thread 180mm

Doubt this is helping you sorry.

Another thing to be aware of is the ”head” size of your Focus bolt. On my Burley axle I had to have the shank, which goes into the recess, where the standard bolt head goes, reduced in size. Lucky found a chap with a lathe.
There would be other ways around it but I was in a rush, and worked out well for me

@estiswe
Bolt is coned so you need nut version.
If you look at the chart that I’ve linked to the 167-192 is the bolt version, which isn’t what you need. You need the 174-180 so the 20110731 part.
I got the Burely version as that is the bike trailer that I’ve got.
