I have a 2018 Sam2 with the Shimano E8000 motor. A few weeks back I put it on charge, then managed to dislocate me ankle and forgot about the bike for over a week. When I came back to it the battery was totally dead and the bike wouldn't turn on, it doesn't charge. When plugged in the charger flashes green briefly and then flashes red.
The bike has had an ongoing issue where I would turn it on and it would turn itself off within a couple of seconds, but after 2 or 3 attempts it would turn on and stay on so I never bothered to look into the issue. No idea if this is related to the current battery problem of not.
I spoke to the local(ish) bike shop and they said to bring it in but I was wondering if there is anything I can try at home before taking it to the shop. I don't have access to another focus charger so I'm not able to rule out a faulty charger myself.
