My levo is out of commission. Freehub has failed whilst in the middle of nowhere. Looking to upgrade my wheels but dont know what too. Any ideas from anyone would be a massive help?

You can't go wrong with dt350 hubs. If you wanna save money just get one of those installed on your current rear rim.
I have alloy dt swiss fr541 rims on my dh bike, they're pretty bulletproof. They're a good option for ebikes too, especially if you're heavier or riding rocky stuff.
I have carbon wheels on my ebike, I enjoy they hold true a bit better. Mine aren't actually super lightweight, but are pretty strong. I have smashed 2 rears now, so they're not indestructible. Alloy wheels would've ridden away from both thsoe incidents too.

There's so many options!

The issue I'm having is that it was a HG hub for the new 12 speed cassette i put on. Most wheels I've been looking at are XD or Microspline...

Fuming because the weather is nice here and all I want to do is ride hahah. Need to invest in another bike

It’s an HG splined hub on my rear wheel which I specified….cassettes are quite a bit cheaper than the rest.

How about just replacing the free hub body and live with the existing wheels…. You’ll not gain much from splashing out £400+ on a set of wheels…. Spend the money saved on going to some new places to ride….

All sorted now haha. Ive replaced the back wheel but now its torturing me because they dont match haha. Went out yesterday and it flew amazing

Easy to break any make of freehub. I had hope one i busted it after a year . Pulled off whole cassette and never put seal back in properly. Hope replaced on warranty.

Cheapest option is a new free hub, mine cost £75 and about 15 minutes to fit. In my case the free hub had destroyed the axel, so that was another £21 but you might be luckier

I managed to fix the freehub it was missing a spring. But the issue was the tooth ring it was stripped off. I needed new wheels as it was the standard specialized ones been on for 3 years

Is there no where in the area to go buy a wheel? You’re learning a great lesson - cheap hubs suck! Go DT as others are saying, or keep a spare wheel handy.

Well you know how to fix that 😂 I cannot even ride if my tires don’t match 😂

I see you've already replaced the wheel. I've always been able to get warranty on the Roval wheels. It might be a U.S. thing. I don't know. One time they replaced a carbon wheel with an alloy for me.
