When, if true, is it supposedly going to be released?

Waiting to hear the new Levo numbers before I order a possible gen5 equipped bike instead

The new Levo numbers have been posted multiple times in the Levo thread, someone posted the dealer spec sheets. S-works is 111nm with 720w and the rest are 101nm with 666w.

I’ve heard the new controller is coming next month with the update to follow early summer.

Thanks for reply, yes I’ve seen those levo claims, rather wait till April 8 to see factual vs rumored.

Regarding controller, you mean the frame
Integrated display for bosch?

Those are the legit numbers, my Spesh dealer showed me the same spec sheet when he was trying to talk me into buying one.

Yeah, the new frame display. It’s not very nice to be honest, I was expecting something along the lines of the DJI type display but it’s far from that. Looks like a shrunken down kiox, it’s posted in another thread on here. I won’t be upgrading mine, I’d rather spend that money on something else.

good chance they will make this pay2play like their new software battery lock.

Thanks, i found it odd the 101 and 111m numbers plus the screenshot ii had seen floating around has a typo at the bottom so i figured it was someone trolling.

Whats the new software battery lock?
you will be able to digitally lock your battery to your motor so if someone breaks the battery lock and steals the battery, the battery will be useless to the thief. this will cost a monthly fee. and they said digital services offering like this will increase in the future

imho its major BS to put something really useful like that behind a paywall, but they claim that the whole community will profit, as thiefes won't be so likely to try stealing your battery if they can't be sure that its maybe locked

Everyone knows an upgrade is coming, everyone else (bar Shimano) are going to be over 100nm so no surprise Bosch will head that way with the Gen 5 CX.
Ive read something like 100-105nm and 750w peak, does that sound similar to other rumors you may have seen?

Any word on the SX update?
I don't think the SX is getting a bump? At least everything I read only talked about the CX. The SX may get some software upgrades?

After trying one last week the SX is like 80% of the CX not sure what else it needs apart from being lighter.

Looks like it’s coming.

I’ll guess we will find out on 1st. Hopefully the top tube screen isn’t crazy expensive as well.

More power might be interesting. But I find it annoying that the top assisted speed cannot be higher.

On a regular mtb bike pedaling at 40 km/h on a flat straight is not exceptional. But doing the same on an emtb is a bigger challenge.

I know that has to do with regulations/laws. But the cut off at 25 km/h for mtb’s feels wrong.

Anyway, looking forward to see what Bosch will present us in a couple of days.

Look like the assist will go up to 400%.
Still way behind DJI & Shimano as per the Velomotion test, but then again the Shimano official assistance is 400% so who knows how they will compare. Anyway 750 Watts / 100 Nm is a good upgrade!

Looking at the press release in the other thread on this, it looks like the update will be available from July and will boost the output to 750w and 100nm, so it's better than it was, but with a few caveats on wear and tear and battery capacity.

why do you need more power and torque ? it should be still a mtb, not moped, surron etc.

And the news doesn’t stop with the CX-R… the PX is on the way too, just like I mentioned here on April 7 :censored: Performance line CX-R and PX? Bosch might be cooking up something new...

Look at this:

Probably not 85nm. The specs will probably be something like this: 75 Nm, max support 300%

I’d bet on a “budget” version of the CX, with lower torque and max support percentage. Basically, it’ll slot in between the SX and the CX.

"Bicycle manufacturers set the maximum values within which users can adjust their performance values."

I wonder if any manufacture is not going to give you the full 750w and 100nm? Just got the Cube one44 today and would be a bummer if they decided not to give us all the power.
