My battery drained form 100% to 91% over a week when not in use. Second time I have noticed this in 7 months of ownership. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Does it do it if the battery is removed, Also not good practice to store the battery at 100%, try and drop at least 1 bar on the capacity if not being used for a few days. If its a week or more you need to drop to around 60% otherwise your battery health may not last as long as it should. Ive read some bits on hear about batteries doing an "auto discharge" if there left at 100% to protect themselves but im not sure if that applies to the Giant range, may have been Orebea

The battery is kept on the bike in the warmer months in UK. I take it off when the temp is low and charge indoors. Not noticed any discharge when it was off the bike. The discharge has only happened twice so its odd.
The bike has done 635 miles. Battery health is 98%. Charge cycles is 21.

Yes a bit odd, only other thing ive heard of is irregularities or inconsistencies in the app. Are you taking the readings from there or your on bike meter ?. Your health, cycles, milage looks the about the same as mine was at that point so looks ok

The first time was on the bike display. It had lost 2 light segments. This was about a month ago.
The second time was yesterday. I checked on the app first which showd the drop to 91%. My Garmin 530 also showed 91%.

sounds like good info then, possible intermittent drain from the bike if its ok when removed. If it was stored at 90 would it drop to 80 ?

Not sure about that as it has only happened twice. I will keep an eye on it to see if it does it again.

Yes they do it's normal. The handbook says it happens. If I have mine at 60%, it'll be something like 49% after 3 weeks or so. Same happens with all battery devices.
