Hey guys...do you normally remove your battery to recharge or just leave it t in the bike and use the frame side battery port? I don't think it really matters either way as far as battery efficiency goes, but I was thinking the fewer times you remove the battery the better. Just looking for opinions.

If you can charge on the bike, that's the way to go, its just easier

I have only removed my battery once to replace a defective dropper cable and once for cleaning. When I ride I have clear Gorilla tape covering the frame and battery cover. So, mine stays very clean.

I always remove mine to charge .. Main reason is I like to store the bike and battery separate for security .. Bike is securely locked in garage, battery and Kiox display safe in the house .. If some ne'er do well comes to try and part me from my bike, they will only get the bike (which is pretty much useless without the original Kiox to unlock it ... even if they can get a battery for it)

I almost always remove my Rail battery to charge as my bike is outside in my shed without power and I can charge indoors plus batteries are supposed to like being kept at room temperature better than in potentially cold conditions outside.
