As an owner of the Park LRT-2 I thought I was good to go to remove the lockring on my 2023 Orbea Rise. WRONG ANSWER :( Shimano has changed the lockring and introduced yet another new tool: TL-FC430

I wish that I found this post before I bought the Park LRT-2 that worked with the EP800. :( The good news is I just removed and reinstalled the lockring on my EP801 with a Park LRT-4 which is a lot cheaper than the Shimano TL-FC430. It fit perfectly.

The one nice thing about the TL-FC430 is that it's an adapter for a BB69.2 tool, which means you can get a torque wrench on it without needing to use a giant crowfoot socket.

It's nice to have options! I had already bought the crowfoot for use with the LRT-2 tool so I was glad that it worked with the LRT-4 tool too.
