Well it’s that time of year out here and I have been pondering fender removal for all the powder. Since it’s now consistently below freezing there’s no mud or wet snow. What do you guys find, fenders advantageous or even needed til Spring thaw ? ⛷

Only of they have good clearance. And allow build up to clear. The Crud XL front is great for this and will also fit most bikes seatstays

The wet snow builds up between the tire and fender …then you stop.
Haven’t had an issue in powder with the fenders on…just don’t stop on those climbs.
Powder conditions are great at almost any depth but wet or icy snow is tricky.
