Can anyone recommend some replacement pedals for my Levo the standard ones don't seem to offer a lot of grip don't want spd type ones just platform pedals that grip shoes better than the standard ones.

Take a look at exotic thermoplastic pedals, IMO for the money they are about as good as it gets.

I like DMR Vaults. Light, strong, fully serviceable, service kits available, good manufacturer.

But the ones from Superstar Components also get very good reviews.
