I'm on my way to buy my first emtb, i love Pivot but was going to buy a SC VALA...should i wait a little more?

I am guessing close enough to wait before you buy. Try to demo, bikes these days can look similar on paper but very different on the trail.

I'm in the same position, I demoed a Vala this weekend. Its a great bike, the Bosch CX g5 has no rattle. I would prefer a pivot because I am a big fan of DW link, but I refuse to buy with a gen 4 motor.

And since you asked about the LT, one with an updated motor is expected in 6-8 months.

I'm in the same position, I demoed a Vala this weekend. Its a great bike, the Bosch CX g5 has no rattle. I would prefer a pivot because I am a big fan of DW link, but I refuse to buy with a gen 4 motor.

New bike will come with CX5 and new CX-R in upper builds.

Where are you seeing $2550? it's either a $550 or $600 on their site or slightly less in other places.

What did you end up buying? I looked on Pivots website but cant figure out if the LT has the cx4 or 5. Maybe that limited edition motor is neither? I just dropped all my loot on the new crestline frame, so I guess its moot at this point anyway lol

I have a Switchblade and always loved the dw link but never considered pivots ebikes as they always had that ep8. No thanks. Idk though, the shuttle LT with a cx5 is probably a banger!!

I see what you are saying. It's a typo for sure. It's available everywhere for the <$600.
The current LT is CX4 and stock looks dry (only limited sizes or builds), granted they updated the AM with the CX5 maybe an LT CX5 is due.
