Pic of the Day

Finally moved in to the 21st century, i managed to download and use a GPX file. There's hope for me yet.

Where did you get the gpx from?
I almost did that ride last week and was using a gpx from when I did it about 5 years ago.
I came back along a busy road after the long singletrack section. Your route seems to skirt along side it.
Also remember it taking about an hour just to climb the Calf on my ebike 😱

I googled Sedbergh MTB and this came up Cycle the Dales one is where its at. Yes I mucked it up a bit ,after Ravenstone I took the road journey you are probably on about it wasn't that busy though. I got back on trail at Handleys Bridge not long after that motor packed in so went back on to road again and pushed some. Yes The Calf fair climb that .Plenty good rides down there. I'm glad I took wrong turn or the three folk on Analogue bikes would have caught me up their mate Carl's motor packed in earlier so he probably conked out after the singletrack I'm thinking.

Boom boom.

So far today, my oven packed in, the fridge freezer also died, I've had £450 go on car tax & pinged myself on the bike again. Probably won't bother buying a lottery ticket or use power tools etc.
Dunno where you are but here near the south coast compared to usual has been mega hot today, could be that after the oven and fridge/freezer fans stop working overtime they might start up again.

Oven's done an element, so easy enough to sort but the fridge freezer is goosed. TBF I bought it in 2006, so can't complain but I could have done without it all piling on in one day.

@Zimmerframe I still can't get my head around the fact that you bought it and gave it it to an ex-girlfriend.
She must have been a hell of a girlfriend!
Maybe @Zimmerframe regrets something and has now cast out the line with something good on the hook hoping she bites and he can haul in the woman and the car🫣

What the hell? How many ATVs were there?
Around about 30..
When we first spotted them they were on the left side of the fence ..( England ) ..and illegally so .
When they crossed over to the right ( Scotland ) ..they were legally entitled ..
They all looked " farming types" so as far as we know could have had permission from the landowner ..friendly enough with quite a few saying hello..
Just a liitle surreal as usually you can count on one hand the number of folks you see in these hills 😁

Beautiful area, but some distance southeast of the Grand Canyon.
I’d be “Surprised” if the big cats wandered down near you. 😉

There was a siting about a month ago of one in a neighborhood less than 1.5 miles (as the crow flies) from my place. Most of my riding is up around Lake Pleasant, the White Tank Mountains and Cave Creek areas. It’s unlikely I’ll run across a cougar but it would suck since I usually ride alone.

Let's take a look at the scenery of China. I sold my Amflow PL in April and was preparing to welcome the arrival of PX. However, it didn't sell as quickly as expected in its own country....
Perhaps it won't be available for sale for another couple of months. So I took out my rickshaw and went for a ride. To be honest, I really hate climbing hills.
