Yes I'm downFirst ride out since mid December ( for all sorts of reasons ..but mainly constant rain !)..and as the " natural " trails we prefer to ride are too sodden ..Whinlatter Trail Centre in the Lake District was our destination of choice ...
Ant ,Jaco & Wayne..along with myself braving the freezing cold but remarkably dry & firm riding conditions ..spending time riding our mistresses on Valentines Day

We don't often get that cold here but if we do it doesn't seem that bad as there would no wind. Whereas we get 3c and wind and it seems Baltic. Just back from france skiing minus 7 or 10 most days but not cold as no wind. That's how I find it anyway. It has been coldest january in 15 years here in Helsinki. Morning commute has been in fresh -18 celcius many morningsIt was cold this morning also but it changed fast to -8 so great riding weather. 31km’s fast (mainly) damped snow trails

Yeah, in the woods there`s not much wind and you stay warm anyway because of active riding but it`s nice when you ride to work in the morning in -18 celcius and it`s headwindWe don't often get that cold here but if we do it doesn't seem that bad as there would no wind. Il fiume Tagliamento, the home river pictured in the photo, is one of the last major European Alpine rivers with a torrential character, flowing along an almost entirely natural riverbed.

Looks a bit rugged there, mate.Fun section
I always wondered about Peterhead to Collieston but probably a walk more than cycle. Used to fly over it when working offshore. I can get from Buckie to Sandend hugging the coast or cliffs. Love coastal rides.Cove to Torry.
