My wife's new ride, Walmart
For Sulky people
Had to Google Shox. I have had a pair of Aftershokz for many years spot on for the bike.First decent ride for a while as been recovering from a non-biking injury. 31km, 1,100m of elevation gained on forest / gravel track and some stunning scenery. Also tried Shox Open Run and they were excellent as I was on my own so some nice background music.

Just watching farmers forecast we are getting another decent week of weather. So need to make a plan. I had a traverse planned with a walking club today. I was Ebikeing through Cairngorms. Getting dropped off by bus at Linn of Dee and cycling back to car at Aviemore. Everyone else was walking a high up route and forecast 70 mph so it was called off. Snow on tops yesterday.

I was impressed with the place in 2016 ( my only visit ) ..and it's expanded & improved quite a bit since then ..( so I'm told ) .Another trip to Glenlivet with Drummond. Beginning to think that this is as good as Tarland. More spread out nothing too technical a few wee jumps . But mostly singletrack , there are some off piste rooty tracks as well. Couple of laps of red is 28 miles 4000ft climbing at least thats about the limit of my 700 battery. . Quite narrow so get a good speed up it needs concentration.

Yes met a couple lads from Israel on hire bikes so very cosmopolitan nowadays. Get a fair workout even on a ebike i was tired last night. Cafe and bike hire open all week 10 till 4 closed in winter after the tattie holidays I presume. Zip wire. Camper van parking 12 quid a night. Toilet is open all year 24/7 . Worth a detour if anyone was in area. I'm trying to remember when it opened 10 years anyway I'm thinking. 2013 I just read.I was impressed with the place in 2016 ( my only visit ) ..and it's expanded & improved quite a bit since then ..( so I'm told ) .
Need a few drams and a lift home after that. Expensive night. 11 speed I could have sent you enough broken ones to make one .From last night's jaunt in the woods, followed by refreshments.

Luckily, the mech wasn't on my bike, just the cassette but they both happened in the same bit of woods.Need a few drams and a lift home after that. Expensive night. 11 speed I could have sent you enough broken ones to make one .
I got a pedal in the shin yesterday last 10 metres of trail . Remember why we called them bear trap pedals now.Luckily, the mech wasn't on my bike, just the cassette but they both happened in the same bit of woods.

Your right there I have a pair in shed so there is no excuse. Not much flesh on the shin either ,even less now. That's why I always wear football shin pads. Also I'm a wimp![]()
