Not much difference ..shorter nose & ramped up rear on the 3 ..apparently to stop shorts snagging on the front and to give more support on the rear for tech climbing ..

Had two last year . Did you get back OK with the chain that slack slowly slowly. I managed first time but too tight last time chain broke. So walked four mile through Heather a bit of a nightmare.

I made it, had to stop occasionally to move the chain back to the right gear. Trail chatter would cause it to occasionally shift to a larger sprocket and get too tight, so I would have to stop and move to a smaller sprocket.

Yes another £80 probably I went for a cheaper derailleur last time . I thought I might manage to make one out of the two broken ones but no. Could carry a spare but sandwich hanger went as well last time so where does it end . .

Last Sunday, early bird tour to avoid the heat and the crowds.

Run into a big garden spider hanging in its net across the trail. „I saw it coming“ - right to my nose. To late for a picture.

Well, I can not compete with that bumblebee JCB but colors of this one matched much better with my bike.

Always good to have expert weather and climate advise at the point of no return…

and a watch pork for your bike.…

I've found that just wrapping "it" around two or three times works better and has the benefit of keeping me anchored to the saddle ..the only problem being when I need to unclip from the pedals quickly ..

Could be painful if you got ..er .. semi excited. You might experience coil shock as things started to unravel

Just another lovely pootle along my favourite local trails. Perfect riding conditions in that it was warm and dry with practically no wind.

The biblical rain of late has managed to return the trails to almost their winter state but they are still
riding well.

Hard to beat a grand day out.
