Great day out with the lads today out of Alwinton a small hamlet in the Cheviot Hills , Northumberland on a route that myself ,Wayne ( The EMF ) & Jaco have ridden many times over the years ..it was Richy's first time on this ride ..and he really enjoyed it .

Great ride out boys, thanks for the pint Ritchie ……terrific start to 2023’s riding 👌
Great to be out again

Sunny day so rode on the South Downs. Just randomly followed my nose, came across Lawrence Copse and stopped because that's my wife's maiden name!

Whatsapped this pic to her and said "Look where I am! Don't ask me where this is cos I'm lost! 😆 xxx"

Nice pic……just a quick question on the top tube bag, what do manage to fit inside it ?
Cheers Wayne.

Haha for me it was quite big but for most it would be small, It's about a 3/3.5ft drop off the top of it lol.
Big enough . Its amazing what folk can do nowadays but I imagine the big big jumpers are the young team . But then again I could be wrong , no fool like an old fool . Happy jumping ( louping ) .

Managed 15miles before the rain started . Ñew ugly mudhugger kept the backside dry everything else soaking wet . Came round the corner going downhill quite fast and I was on that ice before I seen it , no ice or snow anywhere else . Instinct must have kicked in as I did nothing just stopped pedaling and kept straight . Could have been nasty and as usual on my own in a place where I seldom meet a sole ten miles from home.
