No MTBing today as my youngest daughter wanted to go out. We did 30 miles in total, with our usual mandatory ice cream stop at the beach.

Our time-share is on Wapato Point in Manson. It's the third deepest lake in the U.S. It's a beautiful area. We got lucky that there wasn't any wildfire smoke in the vicinity this year. In August, 2023, the smoke was so bad you wouldn't have been able to see the other side of the lake in your photo.

They're on Lakeshore Dr, a stone's throw from Wapato Point. We try to get up there every summer.

You may already know this but Blueberry Hills Farm nearby has excellent food and the drive through North Cascades National Park is pretty epic. Least visited park in the contiguous 48, so the drive can be "spirited".

Blueberry Farms is a must-visit whenever we're in town.

I was once cautioned to be less "spirited" by a Washington State Patrolman during a motorcycle ride across the pass. I thanked him for only giving me a verbal warning.
