Did a 50k mtb race with the wife this morning she did really well and climbed up all the big hills and did 1000’s of calories but i did it on my cheat bike and burned about 10 calories & did skids..... nice bit of sun as well

Nice little loop in and around Hexham with a play in Dipton Woods to finish and refreshment in Dave's garden after that ..nice

Got home and realised that as the missus was up at her sisters farm and the boy was away for an evening on the lash ( does that need explaining ..out drinking ) ..and I was still pretty fresh that sod it I was still up for more riding ..so off up the road to Kielder ..

Its Cwm Rhaeadr close to another classic Brechfa ! Not too much gnar but possibly one of the best flowing trails I have ever ridden. Highly recommend it.

Back up ladybower this time without any non assisted peasants slowing me down ?

it was the guy with the levo's first time down the beast, they went an alternate route last time. my dropper post broke and the levo took a rock to the battery cover which cracked it.

Oldham Way looking towards Denshaw. The road you can see is the A640 running from Denshaw to Huddersfield. What a nice change from the usual mud bath. Surprisingly quiet out this morning.

No, we were staying at a caravan park near New Quay with the bikes and always visit Cwm Rhaeadr . Just such a great trail. Thanks for the offer.
