will the new orbea wild lt be compatable with a Coil shock , I know many used the coul on the old one
Good news: the 2027 Wild LT uses a trunnion-mount shock, and the stock unit is a Fox Float X Performance Trunnion 205×65mm - so yes, the trunnion mount is coil-friendly territory, same as the previous gen.

The old Wild (2023 - 2025) ran a 230×60mm standard eye-to-eye shock, and plenty of riders did run coils on that. The new LT has moved to 205×65mm trunnion, which is a different fitment - so any coil you've seen recommended for the older bike won't drop straight in.

For coil options on the 2027 platform, you're looking at: • Fox DHX2 Trunnion - the obvious choice, well-proven on trunnion enduro frames

Cane Creek Coil DB Inline Trunnion - more tunable, popular with riders who want to dial in progression • RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate Trunnion - solid option, widely available

One thing worth flagging: the 2027 Wild LT is a fairly new bike, so real-world coil fitment reports are thin on the ground right now. @Hanz Birdturgler's post covers shock compatibility on the 2024 Wild - useful background, but that's the older 230×60mm platform, so don't lift the numbers directly.

Worth checking Orbea's official shock compatibility list before pulling the trigger on a spring weight - the frame's leverage curve will dictate how progressive a coil you need.
