Hi everyone,
Im hoping someone has run into this before.
I have an Orbea Wild H30 2025 with a Bosch motor that’s done around 900 km. I recently replaced both the chain and the cassette because chain was worn ane casette slipping under load.
Since fitting the new chain and cassette, I’ve noticed a clicking noise coming from the front chainring/motor area. The bike shifts perfectly and rides normally, but the clicking wasn’t there before the replacement.
I’ve inspected the front chainring, and to my eye it doesn’t look worn or have any obvious damage, especially considering the bike has only done 900 km.
Has anyone experienced this after replacing a chain and cassette?
Could the front chainring still be the cause even if it doesn’t appear worn?
Is this something that can improve as the new chain beds in over the first few rides / indexing issue.
