I was in an RTA in 2003 which changed a lot of things. I was window shopping when I saw a 2021 Turbo Levo Hardtail at a crazy price and here we are. Doing lots of miles and having lots of fun. Would not be possible on a regular bicycle. 55 next Saturday.

Dude your postcode is showing in your profile, might want to change that. Welcome to the forum btw

The western Carolinas, while not the rockies, still have there share of hills that kick my butt. At 67, its nice to have the assist to get me to the top, and then allow me to recover. I hope my Rise will keep me riding mtbs for a few more years. So far, so good.

Well I can tell you are a little thick and very possibly juvenile ....
You jumped in by quoting my post and rolling your eyes ...that was out of context as I was replying to Bambamoda who had mentioned that we should start an old guys viagra thread ..
Hope you have kept yourself entertained with your last few posts ..it just re-enforced my opinion of you ..only I now realise that you are an even bigger dick than I originally thought ...so your treatment must be working already ..

I like to think i will be riding another 10 years. I'm 57 and am now 2 years on my first emtb. I'm of the opinion emtbs (and ebikes in general) will allow the older riders to ride at a much older age than when simple acoustic bikes were around. I live in Canberra which is bike friendly with lots of bike paths and i see people into their 70s riding with the older lots on ebikes.

I guess it is important to ride to your abilities... emtbs are faster / heavier and well ,we are not spring chickens, and injuries can take longer to heal.

Glad to hear you got a bargain and started your emtb journey. Best of riding.
