Hi there,

Thanks for the welcome. Been looking at ebikes for about two years now and have tried a few at demos.

Always thought..next year..but now I'm getting dropped by my riding buddies on the climbs.

I'm 62 in June and they are all 40ish but I'm still pretty fit..

Was looking at the Canyon Spectral On and ended up here with Gary's Canyon/Vitus threads and pressed the button on a Sommet VR today.

Looking forward to the ebike journey but I have a question..

I go to Morzine and Sierra Nevada each year. Is there anyway to get the new bike on Easyjet? With/without the battery?

All the best,

Frank

Any possibility you could courier your battery ahead and send it back at the end of your trip?

Think it will just be Spain this year, but I'm thinking a few guys on ebikes could have a ball in the French/Italian alps without paying for passes :)

Probably going to courier the battery but means I will have to buy an extra one. Will talk to (Michael Saunders at) Switchbacks for a deal. I know he is pretty keen on ebikes for his business.
