On that bike (Heckler SL), I did keep the Maven levers. On a subsequent build (Yeti SB 140), I had the Maven's completely swapped out for Motive Ultimate.

Two SL eMTB (Pivot Shuttle SL/AM and Transition Regulator SX, which replaced the Heckler SL - both weigh 41 lb with pedals); Yeti SB 140 weighs 30 lb. I can't say I ride very aggressively, as I rarely bottom out, even though I try to make most side hits. The Motives (and TRP Evo Pro on the Regulator SX) work for me probably because my riding weight is 160 lb, and I'm not bombing downhill.
 
I was speaking to a wheel builder and he told me that the M6s hold up really well and that I would not need the M8s.
Enve foundations. 1850 grams. I already had a set and they can take some abuse.
