Levo SL Gen 1 Official Levo SL Thread

I use this and set up a couple of profiles. One where Im making the acceleration, another where the bike works for easy recovery days.

For just having fun the stock settings felt good to me.

That said, I wouldnt mind more torque as an option. Im sure the next gen bikes will have it. Not my strongest at the moment but somebody talked shit about not needing an ebike if you can make 1000 watts so...

You cant ride the full levo and not want that torque sometimes. Its not necessary, but neither is a mountain bike. Its all fun.

Hi, can anyone help me finding a technical specification which details out all the bearings dimension on the SL?

Or, can anyone confirm that they are the same as one the Turbo Levo?

I'm also chasing the full tech spec. I emailed specialized about it twice and haven't had a reply. If you manage to get it, please let me know.

Had a notification of an update on my SL for the motor from 41.6.1C to 41.6.33 anyone updated or know what's in the update ? just curious.. ?

My wife just had it done on her creo (same motor) she thinks might be a little bit more poweful

No they either dont know or wont tell

Specialized Rider Care wrote that they do not have access to that information. I wrote back asking them to contact whoever in their organization who does have the information and let me know. They have not written back.

Certainly be interesting to know what's in the update.. :) thanks for the reply

I don't understand why they don't say what is done in the updates.

Camera manufacturers always say what will be improved, corrected, or added.

Is that the wahoo bolt computer on your bike? If so, how is it performing and does it sync to your bike. What info is available from your bike. Looking for one or something similar. Thanks. P.S. Great light!
It's a Garmin Edge 830. It connects to my SL so I can monitor my battery level. It also detects my AXS shifting and tells me what gear I'm in. I'm a big fan of Garmin bike computers.

Hey guys!

First time posting in here, so here's a nice long post to start haha - I just ordered my 21' Levo SL expert! I've got some changes I want to make right from the get go but man, I'm eager to get to ripping this thing ASAP! Throwing a mullet wheelset in right from the start, bumping up fork travel to 160mm, got a cascade link on preorder, and a few other personal preference changes as well.

A question I had for the forum is if anyone is running a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate in the rear. I'm still on the fence about is if I should grab a Rockshox Super Deluxe over the stock DPX2. The reason for this is that I'm a bigger and aggressive rider, 6'1 and around 225lbs. with the DPX2 I'm concerned I'm going to be damn near maxing out that shock in terms of pressure and rebound damping. Had this issue when I spent some time on the Stumpy EVO. With the 10-15% increase in pressure that comes with the cascade link, I'm pretty much over the max in terms of pressure as well. The Super Deluxe is able to run a much lower operating pressure (won't bore you with the details) and will likely have more rebound range for me to get proper rebound. What do you guys think? Is grabbing a Super deluxe a no brainer or should I atleast try the DPX2?

Another question I had for the forum is if you can remove the handlebar remote and run the SL without one. I don't see myself switching modes all too often and don't really need walk assist. Think I'd be fine hitting that button in the middle if I need to go turbo. Let me know if this is possible or even a good idea at all.

Did a few things yesterday

Still Waiting on my Mezzer from Manitou. Ordered it at the end of their $800 sale, but they had their inventory wrong. They made it right with a further discount and back ordered the fork for me. Should have it right around my birthday. I imagine ill splurge on a rear shock for that occasion as well.

I dry off the bike with a cloth, then use GT85 spray on anything that moves and isn't brake related. I wipe off the excess. Then some Finish Line dry lube for the chain.

This might be a bit extreme but I like seeing how much water it gets out that isn't visible. Just a plugin air duster. Works very well getting the hard spots especially.

JFYI, I use it for dusting PC, key board, behind radiators, and drying the bike and car after a wash. Very handy.

Well of course seconds after my last post my Lyrik Ultimate that I had try to cancel in time from Jenson showed up. Now I’ve got a dilemma. Keep the Lyrik Ultimate or wait a month for a Mezzer that Manitou sold me for $600. The mezzer sounds like a great fork but I read a lot of problems on the thread over at MTBR and now of course the Lyrik Ultimate shows up! Tough choices

I’d be interested in that messer.

I’ve got the Lyric ultimate 160mm 51mm offset on my SL and I, along with many many others LOVE this fork! Easy to setup(RockShox has an app for that) and extremely adjustable. My 2 cents ?

Maybe I’ll just keep both. ?‍♂️

Did you download the RockShox app for your personal settings for this fork.
I’m pretty well versed with suspension, but you’ve got me curious so I’ll give it a whirl. I actually already have a yari that’s been modified into a 2020 Lyrik Ultimate minus the modern air spring on my 2018 Enduro.

Just went for a ride on the Lyrik. Pretty darn impressive of a fork. I think I might just hold onto this and cancel the Mezzer based on the very extensive thread filled with reliability issues on mtbr about the Mezzer. Ive got some time to decide. I could use the Mezzer on my Enduro if it really is great. This modern Lyrik is leaps and bounds above the one on my other bike.
