There is a lot of consternation amongst the Giant fans with the total blackout on information about any other 2026 models besides the Reign advance. My LBS is really concerned with the lack of information(can't order or pre-sell what he doesn't know). He's a 30 year dealer and is completely in the dark. Might be just a USA thing but still disturbing.

I've heard rumours of a new Trance coming later in 2026 but there's nothing definite yet (for the UK at least).

I'know that there is always room for improvement, but, I find it difficult to believe that they could make a better Trance than my 2022 +0! Maybe a little shorter chain stay, but I believe that the current one is contributing to the fantastic stabilized handling.

In the USA there won't be any new Giant bikes for a while. Giant as of Sep 2025 is barred from importing into the USA due to labor practices that exploit their employees. I have read they are making changes to their employment practices and petitioning CBP. I don't know the latest status. I ride a Trance EMTB and really like it. I have read rumors of a new Trance with a 100+nm motor and more suspension travel. But nothing official.

Giant has had a meeting with CBP and supposedly has made all the changes required including reimbursement of hiring fees charged to employees when hired. Hopefully this is resolved in the next few months.

Anyway is very strange that's no info about 2026 model, in italy the situation is very poor, dealer make preorder on 2025 model baut don't know nothing about 2026
Still ride my trance sx 2019

The 2026 models are already out. Only the new Stance E+ will be released in the first quarter of the year.
The new Trance E+ will be a 2027 model; nothing is expected before July or August at earliest.

So far, we know there’s a model with an 800Wh battery already in testing, but the model hasn’t been confirmed yet. I’m in Taiwan, and I might know more before CNY.

Translation seems to be built into most browsers automatically and with a right click basically instantaneous. Surprisingly even with not knowing the language, by reading what was posted in the native language, it is easy to see all the important detailsl of the bike.

Interesting that the motor is Yamaha SyncDrive Pro Electric Bike Motor | Giant Bicycles US

The mention in the post of a 850 Wh battery and 120 Nm power along with 160 /170 is more detail than I could find on Giant's website and sounds like a very capable bike.

Thank you,
I couldn't get my translate to work with the screenshot.

It's screenshot from FB. Browser translator isn't gonna work unless you find the direct link on FB and go look at it there.

The image appears to be AI junk so I would take any info from that post with a large grain of salt. I think it would be weird for Giant to have two different Reign E models tbh which is essentially what the post is suggesting.

Giant eMTB strategy is for sure very questionable by currently only offering two niche models (SL trail and super enduro both with small batteries).

Lots of people are moving off the brand as they have nothing to offer to the general public anymore.

My 2024 Trance Advance has an 800w battery so that is nothing new. The real question is what motor will it have?

Some 2026 models on the local Kiwi site:

Plus information on the new 400Wh intube battery - yes, another different format found in selected 2026 models, including Liv TemptE+ and Giant Talon E+
