Hi - new member here, from Australia

I have pre-ordered an Amflow Carbon PL - im looking for advice whether the size runs/feels smaller or larger.

I understand this is a how-long-is-a-piece-of-string question but I'm hoping some of the Amflow owners who have already received/ridden their Amflow bikes can provide their insight.

Im 6'2 and my other bike is Canyon Spectral CF7 in size LARGE and it fits me fine. I run 38mm riser Nukeproof bars. The geo on the Amflow website indicates that the Amflow in LARGE size is smaller in reach, stack height, effective top tube length -basically everything. I'm torn whether I should buy the L or XL. Ive told the dealer XL at this stage - althought the Amflow in XL seems like it could be too big.

The Trek Fuel Exe in L and the canyon spectral in L fits me great. I have ridden an Trek Rail in XL and it was too big, although doable.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I`m 1,85m / 6,1`and I ride a Amflow in L. It`s very similar to my Levo in S4 or my Orbea in Large.
However, I have short legs and arms (stride length 83 cm and arm length 63 cm)
Basically, the bike is rather compact and sporty with a short top tube. I'm going to change to a 50mm stem.
I think I would try the XL if I were you.

@el_ruedy this is great info thank you. This makes me feel a bit better about pre-ordering the XL.

I called the dealer in Sydney (3 hours away from me in Canberra) and he said he has secured an L and XL in the first shipment expected in Australia, so if I get there as soon as it lands in his shop I can sit on both just to be sure, if i need to swap down the L, I might have to wait for the 2nd shipment a few weeks later.

Also, looks like you have swapped out a whole bunch of parts on yours already?! it looks great.

I made some measurements using this site (first one i came across on google)
inside leg inseam to floor - 81cm
armpit to wristbone is 53cm.
shoulder pivot to centre fist is 62cm

Yes, I swapped out a bunch of parts. Almost there is nothing from ex factory beside the magura brake :)
Oh ... If you measured right the L could also fit. I guess it`s a smaller one but very sporty and nice for narrow serpentines.
XL would fit me also but here I had the feeling that the bike was too long for me.
