New to this group I am a 67 year old, that’s been riding for about 12 years now. My son got me into mountain biking by gifting me a 1996 Gary Fisher Wahoo. I rode dirt bikes as a kid and started riding again in my early 50s. From the first time I rode trails on a mountain bike I was hooked so easy to transport, no gas, quiet, and a good workout. I had a knee replacement earlier this year and afterwards I had a hard time keeping up with the group I ride with so, I broke down and purchased a used 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo Alloy. What a game changer that was. Instead of trailing the pack on every ride and apologizing for holding everyone up I actually get to lead the group now. I still have 3 pedal bikes that I ride occasionally, a Timberjack a Surly Ghost Gappler and the old Wahoo.
