Few murmurs that yeti are also ready to announce a new bike with TQ update. Supposedly around the 14th.

Please no, I rode the Mte and it's so goooood ... but way out of my budget.

The only thing to justify not selling a kidney for it was that I would love to have a little bit more power (80nm/500-600w) in the backhand for some situations. 🤪

I know the “new” Yeti LTe is being announced on that date but haven’t heard anything about the MTe. It wouldn’t really make sense for them to go full power on the MTe as it would kill sales of the LTe but the MTe is on sale everywhere right now.

I posted this elsewhere on these forums but the date I saw, on an abandoned computer screen was January 27, 2027 for the 120nm TQ motor.

The sales associate stepped away long enough for me to have a peak. That’s all the info that I saw. Which begs the question …How do you keep a secret?

More info will likely trickle out over the next several months and that will generate more interest. Typical marketing strategy imo.

OMG the Lte, Sixfinity suspension with a slender downtube and < 50#s in a proper build would be the dream bike.

It would really make them stand out as well in a never-ending sea of Avinox bikes.

When you order a Gary from Wish...

no, that’s only your bosch bike. sorry mate.

I'm really not engaged in the 'my motor system is better than yours' feuds, except when it comes to the constant drum beat around here of only Avinox matters. Frankly this forum has needed some levity for a couple of years.

Anyways, it sounds like the TQ might be the new hotness. Of course I'm eager to see the new CVT things, but that's probably a bridge too far for my bike interests.

The new MGs are certainly interesting but this is one area where I would not rush in and be a first-gen adopter. That is one to wait for gen 3.
