New Maxxis Skinwall are ugly, they look more like Orange Rubber Tanwall !!!

I just got my 29" × 2.20 Maxxis Ikon Skinwall, advertized with pictures of the Skinwalls I always had.

But instead of textured beige/yellow they are orange colored rubber, and they are plain ugly.

Is Maxxis now producing all Skinwalls like that ?
Someone knows where to get 2020 old stock ?

They don't offer much choice here, I think I even prefer blue above the orange I have.

I don’t mind the looks of them, just the durability. I’d shred icons on my normal mtb with any aggressive riding. You must be in hero dirt or are a very light weight rider

No rocks here, just wood, trail, mud and darkness.
I think I'm closer to a 180kg fatass than to a very-lightweigt rider.
A jump from 1m high is more an exception than a rule, but hey, we're all gonna die from cov* like all the other 10000 people of my town, or drown because the sea will rise 7 meters.
