I have two green rubber bands on the stanchion inside the air chamber.
Are they to stop bottoming out?
Do I need two?

Top out bumper?
Yeah, That's would seem right.? Not sure why there are two though?

just to be clear, the green bands are on the stanchion not the shaft that goes to the top of the shock.

Air tuning spacers?
the air volume tokens sit underneath the very top of the shock, they are 'C' shape plastic tokens. They are differing colours dependent on size, but it's not that. These are just rubber bands On the main thick stanchion. I'm wondering if they are there to reduce stroke length?

Yeah, I remember now, the Fox air tuners are solid, not flimsy bands. If your bands were stroke reducers wouldn't they need to be solid things in order to take a hit?
If they are inside the air chamber, then won't removing them increase the air volume and thus alter the shape of the spring curve?

I couldn't find it an exploded diagram, but this might be helpful.

they maybe there for the specific 'trail tune' made for the levo SL?

they don't take up any volume of space, they're literally flat rubber bands

Actually Steve, they might be ‘negative’ volume spacers

Yeah, they are an optional part. "Not used on all shock absorbers"
