Trust me, there is 100% no Gen4 Kenevo ! Nor will there be a Gen3 Kenevo ! You can get the Gen2 weight down to what you want with Single Crowns though if you don't go too silly on the tyres.

There is a Gen4 Levo, which is different and some interesting ... uhm .... can't say .. but it should tick your boxes.

Maybe a Bosch SX will fill the gap you want to cross ...
I’ve found a spesh Levo comp carbon for a good price … but I still feel like the Bosch is better for towing my boy up the bigger hills …

Not the new version
Only thing new is the EP801 and T-Type, other than that it’s all the same.

They’ve gone direct to consumer in the US now so the prices will eventually come down more. I think they’re giving their dealers some time to get rid of current inventory so they don’t shaft them with lower prices.

Spending this much money on a bicycle is always going to be painful. Just curious, Why isn’t the Trek Rail on your list?

Yeah maybe its that, then the Orbea isn't exaxtly Rhiana either.
You should say "Kate Beckinsale" then count in seconds before Doomanic appears...

I think you should buy an E-Mythique for £2300....

Then custom paint and all the most expensive most blingy parts you can find and end up with something individual which costs less than the off the shelf porn options.

I did think about that (not Beckinsale, as I was engaged to her cousin, but thats a different story)
I love a bit of a cinderella bike, had many over the years.
I suppose I liketo start with a slightly higher start point nowadays lol.

Haha. I don’t mean to complicate your decision. I love the Rail. What initially attracted me to it was the cool colors. The Specs, huge battery, warranty, and reputation is what sold me.

All of these bikes are all powerful emtbs - avoid the Chinese brands/motors due to warranty support. Any emtb motor can be prone to failure and warranty is your only hope.

He has several Shimano bikes on his list ?

Part of the choice clearly contains the romantic nostalgic element of re-living that 1970's supercar ownership experience of never knowing which bar/inn/hotel you'll be stopping at/staying at that night whilst your prancing steed(I know I know, I used a Miura image) is transported off alone into the night - with no idea when it will ever return. ;)😁

Only if he can use the Force ... At no point has he mentioned that he's a Jedi. Then again he also never mentioned that he was engaged to Kate Beckinsales cousin before and if he was a Jedi that would explain how that happened.

Perfect - the world is your oyster (excluding the absurd top end models). My Rail MSRP was 9k and I got it for 6200 new. Every bike shop is desperate to clear our their 2022 / 2023 inventory right now.

Canyon has some great sales right now as well.

Here's the link to my rail. If your work has a cycle to work scheme, even better.

Good Luck!

I demoed that exact Rail and it was great fun.. the colour really sparkled in the sun aswell which always makes a difference ..

My only gripe was the huge Bosch controller - much prefer the new version on the gen 4’s but for some reason trek only puts it on the higher end models

Heckler is hella expensive, but what a great bike.
I had the opportunity to ride it as a demo on a bike expo and fell in love. From the original list, I also demoed the Orbea which is also great, but I am saving money for the Heckler (the new Heckler SL is almost $13,000 in the USA, almost as much as my car)

I think it works out cheaper here, which is nuts.

The bike sales here hit earlier, as we're approaching the end of season in the UK faster than the US. The US prices should adjust soonish according to my LBS.

I got mine for 5400 GBP. I highly recommend at any price though.

I initially planned to Swap to Gen 4 then realized I prefer the display on the Gen 3 (KIOX 300). Its about 1000 cheaper to keep the Gen 3 - they sell this bike in Gen 3 and Gen 4
