Depending on which bike you've got obviously

For me personally, I did it and I love it
Just take note of the comments regarding geometry changes , bottom bracket heights and pedal strikes relating to your particular bike

I still haven't done it. I can imagine it would roll better but my concern now is, are they (29er with skinny tyre) as resilient to pinch flats and buckles?
My local woods has lots of big roots and fallen trees and I've found its easier on the ebike to slam the front wheel in to obstacles to get a bit of extra pop to get over.

I run a 29 front with a 2.6 Magic Mary tubeless , so no pinch flats
Plenty big enough for me , definitely not skinny and rolls really well

I mulletted my Rail ages ago and I'm currently playing with a 27.5 on the front as well.
