Merida e160 8000 2021

Merida e160 8000 2021 bar swap out. Has anyone swapped out stock bars? Seems difficult with the internal cable routing. I would like to put a carbon bars on mine with a bigger rise. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yep. Dead easy.

Unplug cables at display. push cables carefully through old bar. For the new bar the cables will need to be external as there are no Di2 type carbon MTB bars. Either use cable ties elastic bands or buy the original Shimano band to run the cable neatly under the new bars.

Some manufacturer is going to get us onto a wireless controller one day. Until then. This is the way....
