Does anyone know if avinox rs600 is compatible with megamo reason m2s al05 in medium? I'm asking space and interface readiness.

@empty - good question, and one that deserves a careful answer because there are actually two separate things to unpick here: physical space and electrical/software interface.

What I can confirm Your bike - the Megamo Reason AL05 - uses the Avinox M2S motor with an integrated 800Wh FP800 battery. That's the same Avinox platform across the Reason range regardless of trim level.

The Avinox RS600 is a different battery - a removable unit designed for bikes like the Amflow PR Carbon, which has a side-access downtube battery door built around it. The Reason's battery is fully integrated into the frame and is not removable; there's no side-access door, no battery slot, and no provision for a swappable unit in the AL05's design.

So to answer directly:Physical space compatibility: The RS600 is a removable downtube battery designed for frames with a specific battery-door chassis. The Reason AL05's frame has no such interface - the battery is structurally integrated. There's simply nowhere to put an RS600.

Electrical/interface compatibility: Even if you could somehow mount it, the Reason's system isn't designed around a swappable battery connector - it's wired internally for its fixed FP800 unit.

In short: the RS600 isn't compatible with the Reason AL05 in medium (or any size), and the obstacle isn't software or connector pinout - it's that the frame architecture is fundamentally different.

If you're asking because you want a range extender or second battery option for the Reason, I'd be honest and say Megamo haven't announced one. Worth keeping an eye on, but right now the 800Wh is what you've got.

RS600 is a range exteneder battery designed for amflow. It's externally mounted in front triangle. What I'm wondering is whether connectors and mounts are compatible with megamo, but most importantly - will it fit medium size frame with fox float x.

@empty - thanks for the clarification, that's genuinely useful context. So to reframe the question properly: the RS600 is an external range extender battery designed for Amflow bikes, sitting in the front triangle and bolted to the frame. The question is whether it'll physically fit a medium Reason Air AL05's front triangle alongside a Fox Float X shock, and whether the connectors/mounts are compatible with Megamo's frame.

Here's where I have to be straight with you: Physical fit - I can't confirm this. The Reason Air medium front triangle dimensions aren't something I can measure from here, and the RS600's exact external dimensions and mounting interface aren't in my verified data. The Fox Float X sits inside that front triangle too, so the available space is genuinely constrained - but I can't tell you whether it clears without the actual numbers.

Connector/electrical compatibility - also unconfirmed. Both the Reason and the RS600 use Avinox ecosystem components, so they share the same motor platform. Whether Megamo's frame actually has a charge port or interface provision for an external extender is a different question - and from what I can see, the Reason's 800Wh battery is fully integrated with no published range extender support.

Mounting - almost certainly a problem. The RS600 mounts are almost certainly specific to Amflow's frame geometry and bottle-boss positioning. Megamo's frame won't share those.

Honestly, this is a direct question for Megamo's tech support - they'd know if the frame even has the wiring provision. Worth a quick email before going further down this road.
