Well, I would like to separate in this topic informations about technical aspects of building bike using Markhor Rocket frame from other topic, where is described one problem with ONE piece of this frame.

One year ago I've built bike using Markhor Rocket L - size frame. I still have this bike using it frequently. It has about 1kkm milleage.
It is really brilliant frame. One time I had to tighten the rear triangle main bolt, nothing else .

This year I decided to build new bike. Looking for another frame (only alu) I realized that there is no other better option than Rocket. So I have ordered M size frame- (my second order from Fieldebikes and Tars&Chili). This time painting went faster and package is in shipment. I will update this thread when the parts will arrive to me.

My first bike spec (from the beginning it was going to be budget project)
1. Front fork: Rock Shox Zeb 180mm travel
2. Rear damper: Rock Shox Deluxe Select R DebonAir 230x65mm, I'm going to change it for Float x2
3. wheels BlackJack 2x 29" with Continental Ruban 29x2,6
4. Motor: M510
5. Brakes: Magura MT5 with snails 203 brake discs
In the end the cost was much less than a new bike with a lower specification but with recognisable logo on the frame.

With this specification (wheels, suspension) when the bike is standing on plain surface effective seat angle is 78 degrees, seat pipe angle 71 degrees.

I compared this frame to Markhor Kun Lun and the geometry both of this frames are similiar! More details soon.

Next question :D the site says rear disc post mount size is 160 but I think the guy on youtube doing the review said its 180. And could you measure the chainstay length so I can calculate the length of the chain I will need. Thanks

Started building my second bike using Markhor Rocket. Wheels done, some spy photos:

Hello guys! I see u guys own a markhor frame aswell. I recently bought one my self too and in the process of building it.

How did u guys manage to build it? There doesn't seem to be no manual online for the frame assembly. Everything else is pretty do able tho luckily.

I Heard there was issues with 29 inch rear wheel. What width

Also i saw the thread owner has shimano linkglide which I also have and would like to know if it's strong enought to downshift while the motor gives full power (which motor do u have on it?)

I have M510. There is no any big suprises during the building process, manual is not necessary. You will manage with it.
I have 29er on the rear with 2.6 inch tire. It fits well.

haha perfect, i got 29er's with 2.6inch aswell. got told it wont fit if u have tires that are too nobby tho. anyway what do u think of the frame? do u think it was a great purchase and what about the bafang motor? has the m510 been reliable and how many kilometers do u have on it?

Well, another great deal from Changzhou Fieldebikes (Tars Wong and Chili Shen). It tooks under 3 weeks for shipment to Europe.

As a result, all the parts have arrived. I am starting the process of building my wife's new bike.

The frame painting is flawless. I noticed maybe 2 small dots, but in hidden places. This time I've decided for blach glossy, earlier I ordered black matt.

Spy photos soon.

The new bike is ready and running great :)

This M size frame with mullet wheel configuration is great for technical cornering on tricky singletrack sections.

Effective seat tube angle with mullet config and RockShox Domain 170mm is 74degrees (frame size M).

As I said I collected frame geometry dimensions for Rocket and Kun Lun. Markhor Rocket has similar geometry like Kun lun:
