I came across this while searching around for magura info.

I really like this idea and wonder who else is working on something similar. An electric over hydraulic system that is similar to trailer brakes could be another idea for Emtb's.

Super clean without all those pesky cables and hoses.

I agree, it's a nice look. I'm just curious how the cycle industry has got this far without hiding brake cables in the bars? It's got nothing what so ever to do with E-bikeness so why now? Makes changing bars a headache.

I still have a bike with exposed cables, not just the housing but the cables as well. Lots has changed over the years. Including internally routed cables when they didn't really pose an issue and worked fine before they were internal.

I found it interesting and hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere before. I bet we have an electric over hydraulic brake at some point.

Ooooh unlikely. HUGE safety issues there. The motor industry hasn't managed it apart from parking brakes. Perfectly doable but not worth the legal agro.

They are used regularly on trailers.

anyway, a nice clean cockpit with no hoses or cables would be nice.
