Hi Community, What I feared would happen with a Chinese brand that does not have any real NA support, has happened...My Magura 7S failed (both front and back) after only 5 months and Amflow is not willing to cover anything. Per there fine print they are saying all 3rd party components are not their responsibility. I have requested escalation to a supervisor at Amflow NA. I guess they are based out of Racine WI? (Call center for NA maybe?)
I recently lost performance on both front and back brakes. The brake caliper pistons (seals) failed and started leaking oil (both the front and back!). I took it to 2 different shops to no avail. The latest person to work on it and provide the correct diagnostics is one of the most reputable / well bike guys in West TX and local mechanic (ex-firefighter) by the name of Eric E (shout out to his small garage bike shop / operation). He figured out what had happened and I am posting both his pictures and video explanation. I do not know if this is a just bad luck or a set of Magura "lemons" brakes.
I hate the fact that Amflow is already starting to distance itself from taking responsibility / helping get me the parts / components I need to repair my Amflow.
I live in Lubbock TX and of course the nearest Amflow dealer is 300 miles away in Oklahoma City.
Thanks to all for your support
