Hi I own a MTB with a m600 motor and when it hits 30% the power is noticably diminished. I use the bike to do laps at my local DH course so I'd rather have power till it dies and pedal without assist home. Is there any way to achieve this?

That is alot of peso's for sure but if it works then it might be worth it? I also have a Bafang system and experience the same issue even with a custom 21700 cell pack. I just think that Bafang controllers aren't as sophisticated as those of say Bosch for instance when running low in the voltage cycle. Mine is UART and after lowering the cutoff a few volts it didn't really make much difference.

yeah im still new to the whole thing and im realizing all of the modifications people make, 52v batter packs ,firmwares etc. So im a bit overwhelmed

i sent them an email apparently their BB racing tool is what i need but is 160 euro and i dont even know if they will ship to chile.
thanks for the reply!!
Hello mate.

Yes, I can ship also to Chile, already one device went to Chile, to Santiago. I am sending with national post, so hard to tell how long it can take to deliver. Count with up to 3 weeks.

With UART it is good, you can set the cutoff even under 3.0V per cell.
With CAN controllers is more complicated, they have hardcoded cutoff too high (3.3V per cell and power limiting sooner) if you dont have CAN battery. If you have CAN battery, then depends how is BMS set and when it reports 0% SOC. But power limitation is agin a matter of controller firmware, saw different power limitation start % even with CAN battery.
Is good to trick firmware with BBR (battery mode 2) and then no power limitation down to 2.9V per cell.
