Levo Gen 4 Levo Gen 4 Rumours and some facts...

id be surprised if they launch a ST/LT based on the stump jumper launch. I think they will remain same travel with genie then have other versions with coil. I also imagine the focus will be motor, battery, weight and genie rather than more than travel. The Amflow isnt an overly impressive bike on paper, but the weight and system is what has propelled it into the spot light.
Don’t look at the stumpy, look at the status 140 and 170….. same front and rear triangles and different shock and linkages.

So the bike can be ridden without the main battery or what?

Some bikes have that functionality already, but usually the extender alone doesn't allow full boost/turbo as the current draw would be too high for the extender.

Interested to know the size and weight of the extender, along with how it connects to the bike. The BH ilynx+ has by far the nicest looking system for this (looks like a bottle, but doesn't take up the bottle space). Hope the bigger players get inspired.

I would if the Levo was based on the status, but it’s based on the stumpjumper. We will have to wait and see! There is two versions of the epic also but I think with the electric side you will see one Levo with two shock options (genie/coil)

I think if there is only going to be one travel option then they will have to bump the rear travel up to at least 160mm and stick a 170mm fork on it. With the the full power Kenevo gone, there's a bit of a hole in their offering if the Levo is only offered as a 150mm travel bike. My hope is they offer ST and LT versions (sharing same front triangle).

How long is the Press camp? Just last weekend or does it go thru this week?

Does anyone know how long after the Stumpjumper 15 press camp was the Stumpjumper 15 announced to the public?

This is because the Italian journalist from that forum seems to be in an specialised camp but in Mexico. There are some pictures there of what it seems a Levo SL with a fat motor.

What is this ?

Seems odd that current gen Levo is not on sale. If a new model is coming soon, which I do believe is imminent, Specialized would have the current model on sale to clear out inventory.

2025 aluminium models have better specs than before with the same price and the new aluminium model will pobably come only after the new carbon one so no need to clear inventory.

The pre 2025 spec Levos are on sale on the Specialized site (at least in my country). Many inline stores also have gen 3 Levos marked down quite a bit also. At a certain point they will have to release to new gen no matter the stock situation. I imagine it'll be available by April/May.

2025 models are all on sale in the UK. Huge discounts on older s works pro and expert models as well.

If I am correct, Stumpjumper 15 press camp was end of May or beginning of June while first ride reviews were published beginning of July. Let’ s hope it could be quicker for Levo Gen4. 😁

If the photo is authentic (it is not impossible that the photo is a particularly sneaky attempt to misinform, until the final moment of revealing the 'real' turbo levo gen4), then Spesh is seriously fucked up.

We do not need more power, but real progress / evolutions / refinements (lighter batteries, compact motor)

The ZF centrix is a first step forward (not in levo gen4, i know ... even if i hope they prove me wrong). But on the one hand ZF have associated an irrelevant battery in terms of density, but also the controls are outdated (no wireless control, if I read correctly). In addition, Raymond did everything wrong with the Tarok (geo, removable battery, etc... everything has to be reworked).

European/Western manufacturers would have liked to build a highway to Chinese products, Dji in particular: they would not do it any other way.

So i'm askin, if any amnufacturer read me : innovative geo (or proven one, like the enduro / KSL), integrated light battery (600-700 WH for 2/3 kg max), ZF motor or Dji, aluminium frame gravity rated, compatible 27,5/mx/29 .... PLEASE ?

The photos of a levo sl 2 s works, its not a gen 4 levo.

Confirmed.
Also interesting, sworks will be the most powerful.First time a brand differentiate power between spec levels if I'm not mistaken.
Specialized already does this on the Turbo Tero range; 50 vs 70 vs 90 Nm. Motors are versioned 2.0E, 2.0 and 2.2, but I think they are essientialy the same.
