Kiox Bosh app Lock fried my motor!!!

So my bosch app lock, totally locked me out from using my bike. I took it to a local dealer to get the lock reset, back to standard, but it wont do anything. The kiox has gone mental and fried my motor( Gen 4). If i can get a motor which is in stock in the uk 24 - 48 hours. Not happy.

Just a heads up to this. I never found out the true problem to why my working motor just stopped dead. Yes the app lock totally locked me out. I did get a brand new motor, but took 10 weeks in total. All working and fine, And i will never use that app lock again.

Its a feature in Bosch's eBike Connect app.
By default it is disabled as it is a paid for add on.

Basically if enabled, only your Kiox will operate the motor.
If another Kiox is plugged in, it (as far as I can tell) gets ignored and won't do anything, but doesen't physically 'lock' the motor, so it could still be pedalled, only unassisted.
